blackberry question--anyone a knowlegable user?

I have a question about e-mails sent via blackberry
Do they auto-delete? (Is there such a thing?)

Twice I've saved messages sent through that medium and both times they didn't stay in my e-mail archive.

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

You mean the e-mail didn't stay on the Blackberry itself, or it's not in your regular e-mail inbox?

The messages came to my e-mail via a Blackberry and neither one stayed in my e-mail. I saved both to a folder and now both are gone.

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

I haven't encountered anything like what you've described. I've received alot of messages from a Blackberry and they've always stayed where I put them, unless I, myself, deleted them.
