Zola, get it done. I got my left nip done about a month ago and I don't regret it for an instant.
It's not painful, really. Gauge it at about the same level as a good hard pinch or a nipple-twister... it burns for a while, and for the next two days or so, you'll Really Know It whenever you Move From A Warm Space To A Cold One... but it gets easier every day.
Take good care of it... salt soaks, mild soap (my piercer recommended camomile 'cuz it's also an anti-imflammatory)... and don't move it at all if it doesn't want to move.
Within about two weeks, if things go well, your nipple will become the most sensitive part of your body... at which point the reasons for getting pierced in the first place will become BLISSFULLY clear. A lifetime of fun awaits... and it looks sooooo hot.
And *I* prefer nipple piercings on men with some, er, *beef*, BTW... but I ain't picky. Do it for you.
