Plum - you are absolutely correct - I get my heavenly visitations confused. Just last week I had a terribly embarrassing moment when I mistook a local crossing guard for Our Lady of Fatima. Well, in my defense, she was a trifle overweight. Perhaps I don't understand the entire concept.

d, faith can be a strong ally. i gave up smoking cold turkey two years ago after having smoked almost constantly since age 11 simply because i truly heard the blessed virgin tell me one morning that it was time to quit. tossed away half a pack of camel lights and haven't had one since. i truly heard her voice that morning. why'd she want me to quit smoking? no clue. i'm guessing that whole mysterious ways thing got conferred on her at the time of her coronation, so i don't ask, but i thank her when run that i don't keel over.
r.i.p. marco, my guardian angel.

"I am a mandated minister in the Catholic Church...I do volunteer work in Lourdes, France every summer...I assist in the chapel of the local hospital. The double meaning is aweful and completely wrong for a man in my position." - Dollypop, 1/04
I just thought I'd add a little spice to the ignominious appearance that our esteemed teacher made here earlier this evening.
My only question remaining is, "What position is it that a man like you can be in with his entire leg - much less his foot - in his mouth?"

Here's a quick history lesson. We broke from the monarchy already. So that we're not commanded to bow to anyone. And it will be a cold day in hell before I do.
Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.
