I made a movie basket with romantic comedies and my uncle and his fiance's favorite candies. I also got a cheap popcorn maker (in William Sonoma I got one for ten dollars) and some popcorn. I got the movies at Best Buy since most are only ten dollars.
If they like the movies its a good idea. A suggestion I got before the popcorn maker was getting one of those buckets from Blockbuster and putting everything in there.
Also, William Sonoma has popcorn seasonings. It's pretty cool.
You could even get Jiffy Pop, it was always my personal favorite.

haha! that is awsome!
i may have to buy that for my other cousin, the younger brother of the one getting married.
i ended up getting them this beautiful book called "the book of love"
i went to the store with my mom to buy a card and just saw it and knew they would love it.
we also got them a microwave oven (from the whole family) and some cool little kitchen things from linnen and things.
i like the cherry cobbler gift basket idea so much though that i may very well use that as their wedding present. i could out a jar of the dark cherries we uise for it in the basket too.

Posted: 5/11/07 at 1:04amI was in the Christmas Tree Shop one time and a lady was buying a gift for a shower or a wedding - I forgot. Anyways, her idea was to buy them a decoration for every major holiday.
