Sorry. I think I need a few more hours/days/weeks of sleep...
is your sleep debt as big as mine, bway?
are you guys all in debt so far that you will never break even?? well Sleep is over rated anyway..
tell that to my body when it has to wake up early, cammy....
I tell that to my body every morning..
not really.. It basically tries to tell me to piss off.. but that doesn't make me go to bed any earlier..

But, Mister Singer, the more important question: Does the pug get to sleep in? Poor little baby...

he gets to sleep all day long if he chose to...

The pooch does nothing but eat, chew things and poo. He is not hurting.
He does, however, seem to have developed a recurring skin rash. It's vet time, something I have neither time nor money for but what are you going to do?
That sounds like the life. Except for the skin rash thingy. Poor Elphapug.
he has very sensitive skin. He probably needs some kind of bizarre medication for it as it causes him to itch a lot too.
talk about your pampered pooch!
He is pampered but he doesn't care. 12 or 13 chew toys and he always wants my pillow. Or, better yet, to chew on my actual bed!
oh, by the way, Cookie, in reference to your sleep debt question, I don't know which of us is behind. However, I have a sleep disorder (for which the only available treatment is something I'm not willing to do), so I often sleep without getting any actual rest. It might explain a lot about me to know that.
No REM sleep, Bway?
I guess I'm fortunate - even if I don't get many hours of sleep, the sleep I do get is very restful and restorative. I sleep well... But, I know the sadness of not getting enough good sleep. I lived with someone who simply never slept. Bless his heart. I would have done anything to give him peaceful sleep.
lost my mind
Now does it explain why I sleep on your carpet so often, Addy?
I do indeed often skip REM sleep.
The really frustrating thing is that only one drug has ever been shown to have proven effects on this type of sleep pattern and it's Ritalin. That's something I just won't take.
never mind
I only have bouts of seasonal insomnia. The rest of the time, I can get an okay amount of sleep, though I can easily be jarred out of REM sleep.
But I think you have more sleep debt than I do. And I wish you didn't...
