tried to Google this, but since they eliminated the use of quote marks to keep words together, can't find it. A friend's dad is struggling against heart trouble....and i'd like to quote what Nathan said in his toast to Jack's dad on the episode where Jack found the identity but learned the dad had passed. The toast turned Will's opinion of Nathan around, as was about the "fathers in all of us."
Can anyone help? stars in your crown if so.
"We're born, we grow, we live, we die. If we're lucky, we have family and friends who know us and love us. I never knew my dad. But it doesn't matter, because wherever we go and whatever we do, we can know that the spirit of the mother and the spirit of the father are alive in each of us. That everything good already exists within ourselves. So, here's to Joe, the father in all of us."
