I'm planning on reading the book before it's in theaters.

spider, definitely. Prince Caspian was always my least favorite of the BBC versions. It was portrayed as so anticlimactic compared with the other stories. Two armies battling for control of Narnia...and they all stand back and watch the two kings duel, then accept the outcome. How pathetic. They didn't even give it its own video for the release.

This looks amazing. I haven't read the book since I was probably 6, so I don't know for sure how accurate this will be in comparison, but they did such a good job with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe that I trust them. It's been so long since I could say that about the anticipation of ANY movie.

Whoo-hoo! Can't wait!

I just re-watched Narnia with my family over Thanksgiving, and fell in love with it all over again. Such a great film.

The film I'm looking forward to is "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader". It was always my favorite of the Narnia books.

I love Voyage of the Dawn Treader as well. I just hope they pick a better actor to play Prince Caspian than they did for the BBC version.

Its been so long since I've last seen the BBC version. Is it really that bad?

I own the BBC versions on DVD, heh. I loved them because they were all we had, but they can't compare to the new ones.

I think (I hope) he means the Caspian in the trailer posted, not the BBC one I linked.

Prince Caspian was always my favorite of the Narnia series, so I am really looking forward to this one.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

I am about to start reading the Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe with my students and will be showing the movie the day before Christmas Break to wrap the unit up. I love how they did the first movie and I can't wait to see this one!
