He kinda looks like a seventies Matthew Mc Conaghey

except Matthew McConaghey never made people babble in "tongues", fall down when he touched their forheads, or believe they had miraculously been healed with out medical science.

what language are those subtitles? The whiny little redneck voice he does in this movie always cracks me up. As if gun-toting freaks MUST be from the deep south, even in a movie about LA.

what the hell died on Victoria's head?

that wig is so gigantic - and in the "added for TV" scenes that they filmed a coupla yrs later, they couldn't find that wig and got her a noticeably smaller fro.
I'd LOVE to get my hands on that TV version - none of that stuff is on the DVD. They added a young honeymoon couple in a airliner trying to land in LA, Debra Lee Scott plays the wife. All the rest of the added scenes are between Marjoe and Vic, fleshing out the stalker story.

Courtesy of the Official Dallas website. An interview with Victoria explains the changes in hair:
April in Roma also asks: What was going on with the hair in Earthquake?
Victoria Principal – I read the script and knew I had a good chance of getting it, but knew almost every actress in Hollywood wanted it. Because this character, Rosa, was Italian, and kind of funky, I thought it would be interesting if I cut off my waist length, long dark hair and permed it into an ethnic hairstyle.
I think we all probably turned in good auditions but the hair is what put them over. It was my hair during the entire movie. We had to go back and do re-shoots for the movie, I think half a year later, so it had to be a wig because I was not going to do that again. (Laughs)

RetroBoy - are you on Retroland.com? it's a fun bulletin board. except for all the kiddies who think the 80s is retro, and like to talk about the preschool toys they had in the 80s.
I'm more into the "coming of age" discussions of the 70s.

Yes Chevtriss I am on Retroland.com and I have to say some of those people claiming to be "retro" are actually CLUELESS.

they probably consider the movie "Clueless" retro.
