does anyone know what much about this? It's a college network thing, and I need help figuring it out.

I know C++, I dont know what dc++ is, but I'm assuming that they are similar, I used to program in c++, now we are using java.

Ha...DC++ (aka DirectConnect) is a fileshare program, not a programming language, but I enjoyed that post.

I've used it for the past three years, but our setup is really good and everything works fine, so I can't help you out since I never had a problem with it. Sorry

Its selection is only as good as the taste of everyone else who goes to your college. For me, this means an excess of indie rock, Donnie Darko, and anime.

well, my problem is that I don't know how to find the hub that will work for me...I live off campus, but supposedly there is an off-campus hub. I'm just so used to Limewire and Kazaa where you go to 'search' and just type what you are looking for. All of this 'hub' business is confusing me. Thanks, though

lol uh, I've actually never even noticed the 'student board' before, and that's probably where this belongs --sorry! still taking responses nonetheless (i was wondering where my first thread of this went!)
