a very worthwhile program... they send new and gently used books to children with a rare disorder called leigh's syndrome.
if you have any books for kids you don't need, consiter sending them to eli's angels. :)

Thank you for this thread, Abba! I LOVE to buy children's books!!! I pick up bargains at bookstores and supermarkets all the time! I have nieces and nephews I buy them for now - they collect in my car for months until I get a chance to drive down to Virginia. Now I will pick up books for this program.

And by the way, your Autism signature touches me. One of my brothers was autistic.

Abba, go to the library and see if the reference section has Publishers Directory, or another type of directory of publishers. Find some children's publishers and call or write, tell them the story and ask for a donation of children's books.....many will
