got ours today........I'm fine, but my better half is whining and moaning, and being a real pain in the butt........his arm hurts, waaaaa

That's always the risk.
But as someone who is extra susceptible to those sorts of things, the extra immunity helps!

GH, I had a shot a few years ago and had a bad flu reaction.
That was just my personal experience. Many should get the shot.
