as some of you know, even though i disagreed with a lot of bubba's policy positions i had (and have) a great deal respect for him as a politician and a person. anyone who didn't catch this article in ny magazine might want to check it out.

I like the fact that old Bubba admitted he did not intervene in Rwanda quick enough. As a result , over 800,000 Rawandans were slaughtered. The press gave him a pass. I guess the fact that he apologized covered it

Wow, the older he gets, the more obvious his lies get.

And that's a lie how, exactly? Are you saying he wouldn't have launched an attack on Afghanistan, or that there's no way it would have affected 9/11 plans, or both?

Wasn't Bin Laden added to the FBI Most Wanted List in '92 or '93 as a result of the first attack on the World Trade Center?

The man is brilliant---his book is excellent.

And, he is loved all over the world, especially in Africa and including Rwanda--because he was the only world leader to apologize for what happened.

At the time, Osama Bin Laden hadn't really done anything that could be definetly pinned on him.This was way before 9/11 & even before the USS Cole bombing.It was known OBL was some kind of figure head in this shadowy Al Qaeda organazation,but no one knew much about it.

Clinton himself ttalked about it in length in an interview & in his book.

And where were the right wing pundits at the time? Does 'Wag the Dog' mean anything to you?

Richard Clark even mentioned how many times Clinton tried to get Bin Laden (the same Richard Clark G.W.Bush's father called a hero)According to Clark, Clinton was far more obsessed about fighting terrorism than Bush is.

It doesn't matter how many Clinton haters come out against Clinton. The FACT is 911 happened on Bush's watch & thats gonna be his legacy. While he was vacationing in Crawford, he ignored the Daily Presidential Briefing. His arrogance to not listen to anything Clarke had to say is responsible for 911 & more & more Americans are seeing this to be true four years later.

Clinton is loved throughout the world. He is greeted like a rock star. He is greeted worldwide with love & admiration. Bush on the otherhand is portrayed as an idiot. The complete opposite of Clinton. Wherever Bush goes, he needs extra security & is greeted with protest & hostility. Clinton is loved throughout the world & Bush is hated throughout the world.This drives the Clinton haters insane.
