I just finished reading ti and wanted to see what others reactions were to this book. For so many people it changed their life. I thought it was a lot like the Celistine Prophecy from a few years ago. I am at a real crossroads in my life being 37 and all. I just am not where I thought I would be or wanted to be at this age. I am trying to use this book to push me in the right direction. To remember to pursue my dreams eventhough there are really hard battles to get past. The book says that if you are truly following your dreams (your Personal Legend) then the universe will help you get there. I have a job interview next week that I am really scared to go to because if I get it, then there will be big change. But then the book encourages you to embrace change and assume that it will be the path to where you want to go.

just rambling.

any thoughts?

Go with what your hart tells you to do. You really need to think out the good and bad things that could happen if you get or dont get the job. I have read the book, and I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE needs to read that book!!!re: has anyone read The Alchemist?

I sort of feel that although it will bring change, I know that it could be the change that leads to the reward. When if I stay at the comfortable job there is no way it will lead to anything except what I have been doing for the last five years. Ooh, The Last Five Years. I made a musical reference!

Read it in 8th grade and LOVED it! I love the message about not concentrating too much on the spoon, but concentrating just enough. It's all beautiful!
