Oh, Addy, your knowledge of this rules is sexy. I personally find the whole idea of a shot clock offensive. I mean, who is to say how quickly you have to shoot.

What good is a game that DISCOURAGES physical contact?!

Any player or coach guilty of intentional physical contact with an official shall automatically be suspended without pay for one game.

I wasn't aware that it was a violation of the rules if the ball hitts vertical basket support. I know I feel violated if my vertical basket support is hit, but it is nice to know that NBA recognizes that as well...
