Posted: 1/24/05 at 8:51amYes, that film is "Homicidal". It is available on DVD. Being older than everyone here, I remember going to all the "event" films of the late 50's and 60's. Whether it be a big "road show" picture, or a gimmicky B-film. William Castle was king of these gimmick films, and "Homicidal" was no exception. Right at the climax of the film, a clock came on the screen and you had time to leave the theater if you were too scared. They would give you your money back, except that you had to stand in a spot lit area called "Coward's Corner" (it was actually yellow) for the remainder of the film and while the rest of the patrons left. I don't recall anyone doing it, but it was a lot of fun.

OHHHH I BELIEVE THAT'S IT! ohhh THANK YOU! thank u all so very much. i'll pick up a copy and let ya know, but that sounds EXACTLY like it...and the character name of Miriam and the dubbing all sound precisely like the film. that should be the title. it all rings a HUGE bell.

yes i just checked. i saw still from it. this is definitely the film i was seeking. i just picked-up a cheap copy of it on ebay. thanks, everyone. y'all r the bees knees.
