my best friend stole some funny lines from me. i think i should contact the local police even though i am confident that they won't really help me. isn't intellectual property theft a crime?
before anyone answers, please bear in mind that everything i've said here is pure and true and those who don't believe me shouldn't bother posting here because even though this is a public forum, i don't want to hear your thoughts. so please save everyone the trauma of having to hear to listen to your cruel barbs. no one wants that!
i realize that posting such information on a public forum might open me up to those who don't believe, but that's no reason for them to post on this thread.
now, who can help me navigate the difficult waters of the intellectual property laws so that i can get back my lines from the craven cretins who've so callously ripped them from the bosom of my creative soul?
also, why would someone i call a friend have stolen from me? can anyone answer that?

only if it's still in its original packaging, jg2. but please, people, i need some insight into my problems.
now since i posted this i was contacted by an intrepid young group of bohemians who travel the country specializing in just this sort of crime. their representative, mr. fred jones made it clear to me that he and his associated had dealt with such cases before. his associate, mr. norville rogers, assured me that were i to enlist their help that the resolution of this crisis would be their only goal. i don't know though, they seem nice but there's something about four youngsters who travel the country in a van with their dog that seems familiar and not in a good sense.
should i trust them? i just don't want to get hurt again.
