homophobic rhetoric by various religious leaders who's the worst?

I've belonged to three Christian denominations during my life. My early years (all the way through parochial high school) were spent as a Missouri Synod Lutheran in the midwest. I can't prove it, but have no doubt that they still use euphamisms to refer to gays. I next attended a United Church of Christ Church. The leadership has a good record, but some of the individual congregations are lagging behind. And now, I've just settled in to a wonderful Episcopal church which is truly open and affirming...to stick to the lingo... They march in the Pride parade as a show of support.

Okay. So that was a positive answer to a negative question, but I'm in that kind of mood.

sometimes i forget that there's any positivity in any religion for the glbt community even though many here have posted stories that demonstrate exactly that. probably it's better to dwell on the positive rather than the negative. i'll change the subject heading when i get back from karaoke. if i can stil see.
