i got a bag of bertie bott's every-flavor jellybeans for my birthday (i told my friends i am going thru a serious jelly bean craving phase).
anyways, some of the flavors are totally gross like sausage (tastes more like beans) and sardine (ick), but one flavor i didn't think i would like i am now craving - PICKLE!
i scavenged thru the entire bag after my first one and gobbled up the remaining two. so good.
i think jelly belly (the company that makes these) should add pickle to it's mainstream lineup - i know i would buy a bag just of pickle flavored jelly beans.

Posted: 5/28/07 at 1:45amIn high school, my friends and I would play Bertie Bott's roulette. We'd each buy a bag or box and pour them together, lose the flavor keys and eat at random. I learned real quick what the vomit bean looks like and to stay the hell away from it.

Posted: 5/28/07 at 2:13pmIck, I have bad memories of those things. My friend talked me into eating one that was black pepper or something equally disgusting, so I thought I could eat a green apple one to get the taste of something better in my mouth...it was grass. Haha.

Oh, honey, if black pepper and grass are the worst you've eaten, consider yourself blessed!
Though I don't like jellybeans to begin with, I love Bertie Botts if only to watch my friends suffer when they eat salmon or vomit.

Haha Rose that's funny. The kids in my family seem to get them from my grandmother for every holiday, and we've started playing a kind of fear factor game. Put them all in a bag, cut out the different recipes and then make disgusting concoctions for one another to eat. They truly are disgusting, but for some reason, we continue play. However, I find the regular JellyBellies sorta disgusting.
Pickle, though. I am intrigued.
