snack food junky that i am, i'm surprised i'm just now discovering PITA CHIPS. they're awesome! i got the REGENIE garlic parmesan variety ... very flavorful, but not overpowering. i'm sure they would be great with dip, but i'm just eating them out of the bag. anyone have a favorite brand, flavor, or recipe??

Posted: 4/4/06 at 6:36pmEasy to make at home - Just get a package of pita bread, cut into pieces the size you desire. Then - place on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil (or white truffle oil is great too!) some light seasoning and bake. They are great with some Garlic Hummus! Yum!

I actually don't allow myself to buy them because I will sit there and eat the entire bag.

Oh my God, yes.
The only problem I have is trying to eat it with my two cats are around. They go fricking crazy.
A bit messy, but oh so good. And oh so cheap!
It's like buttah.

I have almost bought that granola, but I thought it looked a wee bit on the sweet side.
I noticed there was no nutritional info on the container, and I was scared!
