So, somehow, these two arrows appeared in the top left corner of the iPord (where it usually has the icons for play or pause).
It looks like a Fast Foward or two play icons together...It's happened before, I don't know what it means or how to get rid of it.

ETA: Fixed it. I held down the center button and menu button. The iPod shot off came back on with no battery. But the icons were fixed. Then 5 seconds later the batter went back to normal. heh.
