Yeah it has been on there for awhile. It went down for a little while but after the full movie was released on iTunes it once again went back up.
Anyways I must admit I too bought two songs from the album before seeing the movie, that was a big mistake. ALthough they were probably the best songs in the movie (Stick to the Status Quo and Breaking Free), which isn't saying much...

Then again, the movie is just so bad it's good. If it's cheap enough I'll end up buying it when it comes out on DVD. The scary thing is the mindless tweens who post reviews of the album on i-Tunes, the ones who think that "High School Musical" is what a Broadway musical is really like...

I was extremely bored when watching the movie but I'll probably end up renting it anyways.
Don't be so ignorant of High School Musical fans, I'm sure plenty of them listen to Rent and Wicked all the time!
There was a Sondheim joke in High School Musical though so maybe we need to give it some credit...
I bought some songs too, I mean they're not the greatest songs, but they are fun. And I enjoyed the Sondheim and Tony jokes.
I have an iPod question.
My iPod battery still has life on it. I turned it on, it looked about half full, and then all of a sudden it said that the battery is low, then it turned off. Then I turn it back on and it is empty. I finally play a song and the battery is filled up again. Is this a sign my battery is dying? I just got it like a year and a half ago.
The battery meter is NEVER accurate you have to take what it says with a grain of salt, when it turns off then you just need to recharge it...mine changes all the time, it'll go red and then when the backlight is off it'll go back to green. It's very unreliable.
I don't have the color one. I usually turn it off, then it goes back on completely empty, and I play a song, and it becomes half full again.
yeah no matter what the version the battery meter is NEVER accurate, but even when it's low it still could have like an hour or two left in it or even more. Never trust the battery meter, which I'll agree is really stupid, but it's mainly just a guidline to show you that it's getting low, even though it could have quite a bit of charge left in it. Mine's almost down to the end but it's still going strong and has been there for like 2hrs already.

I have the same problem millie_dillmount except when mine dies, it dies. It also seems to have a lot less battery life too. I assume it's a sign of the battery dying but I got mine around the same time as yours so I should not be having any problems. My click wheel is also messed up, I can't push the Menu button down all the way or else it changes the song, it's very agravating.
Now I'm starting to reconsider buying another iPod.
You know how you can press the "next" button down for sometime, and the song just fast forwards? I had a problem one time where it wouldn't fast forward, but would just go to the next song. Then it worked again. Weird. But if you push the middle button and then move your finger clockwise around the wheel then you should fast forward no problem.
