I admit that I was in the wrong, not because the article I posted was wrong or right, but because I should've known that it would've stirred up conflict. I wanted to find a rebuttal of that article on Democratic Underground, but they don't let me use their search engines unless you donate, and I'm broke. Therefore, I stupidly asked this board. Also, if I was a sock puppet, why would I be in agreement with you guys about HD?

I understand why you might think my myspace page might be faked. I don't know how to tell you it isn't, because the only way to tell for sure would be for the two of us to meet in real life.

What's wrong with an eighteen year old liking opera? My father was a really cultured man. He drilled that stuff into our head. I remember when we got a new pirate set and he asked me, "Want to watch a movie about pirates?" I was expecting "Treasure Island", so I said "yes". Instead he showed me "Pirates of Penzance". I loved it, and it became tradition in our house to watch that movie once a year. Eventually, more Gilbert and Sullivan followed.
As for the Wagner? My first introduction to that was that Bugs Bunny cartoon. After I saw it, dad showed me to his computer where he had all of these Wagner files. He played them for me and I was enthralled. I didn't think of actually listening to the rest of the operas until four years ago. They remain the most gorgeous music I ever heard.
So please. Just because I'm eighteen and like opera doesn't mean I'm a troll.

okidoki, then. our mystery girl does indeed have a myspace in which she has few friends and chats mostly about pokemon and the nazis.
the pic, in my humble opinion, is not someone who is 18 today, sorry taka. there's many reasons why people would not use a real photo on myspace. that pic was taken in the late 70's or early to mid 80's.
i don't know who you are, kiddo, i've no doubt you are probably an 18 year old girl based on the blog entries there, but that pic's not you.
the entries and the myspace page go back far enough that it's not something that a was just created for this unless the person's certifiable. i mean really over the hill. i just cannot see someone being that obsesssed with bww, sorry. i think she's real, but twisted.
