my computer does that sometimes too when i get a new one, then read it. it will say that it's still new. don't worry liam, it will go away soon enough.

yeah, does that to me too ... it's like you have to click a link on the site or refresh your browser for it to go away.
and is it possible for someone to delete a PM before you've had a chance to read it? If it's not read, and the sender deletes, does that delete it from your in box also?

No, someone PMed him, then took it back. Bet they do the same thing tomorrow and then the day after. Just to make him wonder what's going on. I know this from a very reliable source. The trick is in knowing how to do it.
