He sat next to me at dinner last night. I went to a place called "the artichoke cafe" rather late last night. I guess he was eating there, too. He waved at me (I think I was staring, so he was probably just making sure I wouldn't harm him). =)

I ordered the same food he ordered...these wonderful grilled scallops. =)

Did you at least tell him you were going to vote for him?

No. After I got the "I'm uncomfortable with you staring at me" wave, I figured I'd done enough...I didn't want to let him know I was voting for him.

Oddly enough, I only recently switched from a Nader voter to a Kerry voter...so, it is still new to me to be a Kerry fan.

Well, one more in the Kerry column is good enough. :)

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

thanks, MOm. It was his war policy that really irked me enough to vote Nader. But, given that voting Nader wouldn't change the party policy anytime soon, I figured just protesting the war would be good enough, and voting against Bush would keep me ethical.

"After I got the "I'm uncomfortable with you staring at me wave"

Vote for Kerry and he will give the entire United States the "I'm uncomfortable with you" wave.
