re: livejournal

I used to, but now I just keep it to read old friends' posts and keep up with a few communities. (I get all my music there, too.) I moved to blogspot and didn't tell anyone, and since I wasn't really looking for anything too complex, it's perfect for me (not that I had any problems with LJ, but still).

re: livejournal

I've been lurking on it for a while, but just recently set up a page and all that. Mainly for when i am bored.

I don't, but everyone I know does. And they all love doing it.

re: livejournal

Yes. It's strangely addicting, and now when I'm bored, I can look back on what I did four-five years ago on this day.

(How's that for useless information?)

I'd say LJ's biggest strength is letting you filter who sees what. It's also less visually assaulting than Myspace blogs.

re: livejournal

I've always been concerned that one day I'll be arrested and they'll ask "where were you on Wednesday 8th September 2004?" and I'll get locked up 'cos I won't have a clue. But thanks to LiveJournal, I can check that! As long as it's post-February 2003. :3

re: livejournal

I have one. I've had it for the past 6 years. Crazy, to think it's been that long. Finally got a paid account 2 years ago. I love my lj mostly to keep up with friends in other parts of the world.

it's also a great outlet when I need to get something down on paper and can't physically write fast enough to put it in my real journal.

I have one. I think I have had it since 2001 or 2002. I was in college . . . that's all I really know. re: livejournal

What is everyone's name so I can "friend" you? Mine is . . . phantomofrent

re: livejournal

I didn't realize people used livejournal that much anymore; I though myspace blogs took over.

re: livejournal

I do use my myspace blog quite a bit, but I keep it extraordinarily vague. I almost never name names.

I can do so much more with my livejournal and I find LJ so much less of a visual assault. (as another poster said)

I'm PegasusRising on LJ... always up for added friends.

And must admit, the internet voyeur in me loves reading about other people's lives.

I'm frecklefacedlad, although I haven't posted in weeks.

And oddly enough, livejournal isn't working for me right now! Is anyone else on and having trouble with "internal service errors?"
