My Funny Valentine? Hm. I was going to use that for an audition. I'm not going to it now...but I'm not sure if it's really over done!

I've seen more than one college website that had "nothing" on there NOT to do list. Believe me I love the song too...but I dunno I'd follow what they say.
I'm not sure about the other songs. I would consider them.

From a director's point of view:
If you did anything from Les Miz or Saigon, I'd stop listening to you after the intro.
Nothing is in fact WAY overdone.
To play devil's advocate, though, I think you can do any song you want as long as it's unique and good for you. Look...there's not a single song that any good casting director hasn't already heard, so in a sense, everything is overdone. The thing you have to do then is connect to the character and the essential core of the song.

i know most of the stuff i'm choosing from is overdone already, i guess i just want to find like, the LEAST overdone song...but thanks again for the help!
