Wow.. I hate holiday drama at home.. Sorry Cats. Can I just say that leaving the West coast and spending the holidays alone has been the most liberating experience. I'm so glad I did it. The silence of a hotel room is fabulous sometimes.
I hope things get better..
Meryy Christmas!
"Someday I'm going to have a baby and I'm gonna name her L'il Mimi Marquez and I and will sing to her every day and when she's a toddler I will say "L'il Mimi Marquez, clad only in a bubble diaper, will perform her famous play pen handcuff dance to the sounds of breast milk being pumped!" ~Kringas

Sorry Cats. All my love to you this holiday season. It's best your mom cool down and laugh off the Christmas stress. Being joyous shouldn't take so much work!
I'm sure both pies are delicious.

*hugs CATS*
Don't worry hun, just let her cool off. Why do holidays seem more stressful then "merry"?

CATSNY I'm sorry.
Happy holidays huh? I'm also sorry that 72 percent of all mothers go nuts around the holiday. She sounds like mine.
Mother: "I'm going to go put the lights up."
Me: "Need any help?"
Mother: "No. No one ever helps, I've learned to do things myself."
*15 minutes later*
Mother: "I have to do everything myself! Couldn't someone just give me a hand for one **** minute?!"
Me: "I asked you and you said-"
Mother: "Forget it! Just forget it!"
?? I don't know. Plus my entire family manages to get in a huge fight every Christmas eve. It must be all the stress. Ah well, I love 'em anyway.
