opera and acting

Does anyone know of any way to get training in vocal performance as well as training in acting? I've been looking through colleges and I find that all of these MT majors don't really provided a lot of the classical training that I want.....are there any schools out there that you guys know of that do?

I just have such a headache b/c I really want to get the best of both worlds with operatic training as well as acting training...HELP!!

OCU let's you double major in MT/Vocal Perofmance so you get the classical and acting training as well. But you have to be top of the line to get in!

An undergrad can't major in Opera performance, only vocal performance. In grad school, you can then get a degree in Opera performance.

Correction- an undergraduate CAN major in Opera at Yale University!
