he's got that southern thing, ywiw. just you wait and see.
for every republican turned off by his past actions and words, there will be two blue-dog dems ready to switch over and vote for a populist god-fearing baptist rather than a woman or a muslim.

Well, hopefully you are wrong. We will find out in a little less than a year either way.
I know some people of faith who are not comfortable with him, and how he interjects his faith directly into his politics. I don't think the religious right is a unified block, and Huck may just split them.
But, with politics, you never know. It may well depend on running mates, and platforms - but with the current world we live in, Huck is perhaps the least qualified candidate to lead a superpower that is in the middle of a war.

*shrugs* I dunno...the thing is....something just feels all wrong about the polls regarding Clinton and Obama...I just can't put my finger on it - like they are not asking the right question. Their number are too strong and too consistent and there is just nothing normal about that
And I have no real love Richardson nor do I have negative impressions about Clinton or Obama...but darn.. I just have this feeling that something is just wrong and Thursday night is going to be Mr. Toads Wild Ride.

Agreed - I actually like Biden, but his mouth sometimes get ahead of his brain, and he is not electable.
I just hope whoever gets elected is thoughtful and serves all Americans, not just some of us.
If given the chance, I would vote for a Bloomberg/Hagel ticket, truth be told.
I really like Hagel.
