Seeing papa again tonight in person reaffirmed what a smart, funny, sexy guy he is. I'd so be his b#tch.

Etoile is a lovely, playful, bright, sweet lady.

Both of these people are despised by a few of you on this board. And none of you that do has ever met them. And, until you meet them, you have no idea who they truly are--how wonderful they truly are. And, I can say this of every single person I have met in person from the board.

It's just a message board, folks. And, too often we take it so tragically seriously. It is not real life and it is truly sad when it becomes real life or part of real life for people. If this message board is your index for real life, I feel sorry for you.

Go out and be with people in real life. Meet each other in real life. Live in real life.

jrb, i am touched. not nearly as much or as often as i was while sitting next to you last night, but still.

last night was a splendid night all around. it's amazing how well people get along in person even while sometimes looking like mortal enemies while on the board. jrb's right: it's a board, that's all. one that we all love and enjoy and respect (i use that term loosely as some folks will take issue with that certainly), but at the end of the day, it's just ones and zeros in the ether.

last night was real. and i am real hung over today, thanks, eddie varley and etoile. why oh why did i forget what champagne does to one's head???

Thank you for the kind words, jrb. You should know already that I think you're such a sweetheart. And yes, papa is hot! Such a collective great group of people present last evening. And the talent....ah the talent! I do feel sorry for anyone wanting to be there and not able to attend. I think a fun time was had by all.
