On a side note, does anyone know of a good OB? I've been nauseous all week and vomiting (partly, I'd like to say, due to having to listen to mambo's piss and vinegar). My legs have been swelling a bit, too; I'm getting these huge varicose veins. Not to mention the heartburn.... literally and figuratively.

I bet that shower scene in Dallas would be nice about now, huh?

Vish., eat steamed asparagus, it helps retain the water. As you can tell I've been through this before.
I'm also getting ready the IV full of Vodka. When the doctors aren't looking I'm gonna attach this one to your IV during child birth, it'll help with the pain.

Is asparagus good for the baby? I heard 10% of its spears are infected with beetles' eggs.
My mother told me I should just do a C-section. Any thoughts?

Vish., I will be with you all the way sweetie. Don't you worry about that. I can get to St.Vincent's in about 45 minutes.
They won't do a C-Section unless absolutely necessary. Too many law suits. If they determine the baby is too large or in stress then they will do a C-Section. My 2 sons were C-sections. One was too big 9lbs.2oz. the second was an emergency C-section. I also had Lamaze classes, so we're all set. No worries.

We can fit a king size bed and a crib in it with still plenty of room. Before you start yoga classes, check with your doctor. Sometimes they don't want you doing exercises you haven't been doing before the pregnancy. Not to scare you, but you can miscarry. So please check with your doctor first and see if she recommends it or not.
