Wow, seriously? That's a LOT of money, but... oh my God I would love to do that. The water is awfully cold, though.

they also had a thing where you can pet a penguin too but it was also very expensive. the sting ray petting thing was free though and i thought it was alot of fun.
they would swim right up against the wall and stick their faces out of the water.

I remember checking out the actual Mystic Pizza shortly after the movie came out. There was a big sign in the window: "NO, WE DO NOT SELL SLICES". A few year later, there was a sign saying, "Due to popular demand, we now offer pizza by the slice".

And no, none of the girls working there resembled Julia Roberts.

I swam with dolphins in Jamaica and I think that's the furthest I'd ever go in the water with. Even that idea wasn't thrilling at first- although, once I did it- I wanted to do it again.

My brother went swimming with stingrays- he loved it but I just can't see myself doing that.
I'm not really an ocean person anyway. The thought of what is in that is just...disturbing.

Edit: Randomness- I am obsessed with butterflies. I think they are the most beautiful things. I love to watch them...there is a place near here called "Butterfly World"- it is wonderful. But, if a butterfly lands on me, you'd think I was being shot.

I've been swimming with dolphins twice. It's one of the most powerful, calming, amazing things I've ever done.

Abba- it's wonderful!!!

I've never thought I would like it but my parents basically begged me into going and I have to admit, it was one awesome experience.

I went swimming with them in Jamaica from a tour on my cruise *we also went to Dunn's River falls*

But, there are other places you can swim with dolphins. I know there are a ton of places in Florida.
I do think you would enjoy it!

The New York Aquarium in Coney Island had dolphins up until a few years ago, but when one passed away, they decided to send the other to a facility in Florida, because it's incredibly bad to keep one dolphin alone. The facilities in Coney Island are really old, and simply not equipped to properly house dolphins anymore, so they're probably going to be doing a big overhaul; whether or not they'll have dolphins back there again any time in the future is still up in the air. There used to be dolphins in Boston, too, but the climate was all wrong, so they don't have them anymore. The closest aquarium to the Northeast area that has dolphins is in Baltimore; it's a great aquarium, but you can't swim with them there. Most of the places where you can do that are in Florida, or out in the Bahamas.

mystic used to have dolphins when i was little but not to swim with, just to watch in shows.
i remember watching them when i was like 3 or 4.

Mystic was cute, but I was pretty much bored out of my mind.

Loved the Mystic Pizza, though - and the aquarium. I really liked the town. I hated the whole ship thing though...

I went swimming with dolphins once and it was just one amazing experience. I also had my best snorkeling in St. Thomas about 2 years ago. It was just amazing so much wildlife and great clear waters. I even saw a wild shark (small of course!) and there were lots of starfish and stingrays and turtles. It was amazing!
