Posted: 6/14/05 at 8:08pmhaha it's cool the amount of pain depends on where you get the tattoo and the size of it, it doesn't hurt as much it you get it on a fleshy area like your arm or leg but ankles, wrists, genitals (yes genitals) hurt a lot

actually, i really didn't think that the one on my foot/ankle hurt more then the others. in fact, the turtle might have been the worst, cause i think the outline is the worst, and the turtle had the most outline.
that said, i think i want to get a moon behind my ear.

it also depends on your tolerance too i have a pretty high tolerance and most of my tats didn't hurt that much but i have a small one on my wrist and that hurt like a b*tch and....go for the moon behind your ear =)

And I love the James Dean tat! Beautiful.
My ankle didn't hurt at all, in fact it was very relaxing. My neck stung a little. My foot felt like glass was being ripped into it. Ugh, and it wasn't even worth it. I wish I just went with a simple star.

depending on where they are depends on if they hurt. The one on my back about killed me as the skin is thinner. The one on my ankle didn't hurt, nor did the one on my right arm....
I have two on my left arm. The upper one actually excited me, or perhaps it was the tattoo artist, and the one going around that arm only hurt on the inside of my arm.
Midnight, I'll have my partner take some pix this weekend, and I'll post....just for you.

Yikes. I was worried about going too low with mine, because I didn't want to have to worry about getting a bikini wax before hand. My tattoo is right off my pelvis on my lower stomach, but it didn't hurt me at all.
I want another, near my first one but kind of like a design incorporating it. I don't know what yet, I'm too broke right now to be seriously considering it.
midnightdolphin, a moon behind the ear sounds awesome. On this TV show I saw once, the character had a tattoo of a barcode on the back of her neck and I seriously wanted one. But then I realized that it would forever be associated with this bad TV show, so I decided against it.
