I know there was a thread long ago, but I can't find it.
How do I post pictures to a thread. Weren't there two websites where I could download pix, and then past the link in a thread here? HELP....anyone know what they are and how simple the process is?

thanks in advance

elfie, just upload the photos to "fan photos" on this board and then select "properties" of the photo by right-clicking on it when it is still big (when first uploading it to fan photos).

lastly, paste that link into the "optional image" box in the message.

I am not familiar with storage on Kodak.com, but view the picture, right click on it, and highlight and copy the Image URL. Then paste the URL in this text box or in one of the "Optional Image" boxes. Make sure it ends in .jpg or .gif and NOT .html. I'm not sure if .bmp and .png works.

You can't link to pics on kodakgallery.com They have stuff in place that prevents you from being able to do that. (The URL you'll try to copy and paste won't work.) I know this from experience...I just use imageshack.us re: posting pictures help/revised

(I used photobucket for the one above)

I wonder what the reason is for Kodakgallery not wanting you to be able to link to your photos?

Under the Fan Photo link on the left of your screen. It pretty much walks you through it, Elph.

RobbO's right, you can do that. But I've found it only works when you first upload the photo. If you ever want to just go back and post it again, it doesn't work. I prefer imageshack. Or I guess photobucket's fine, too. (I've never used them.)
