.psd - computer help

So... I scanned in this thing at school today because I don't have a scanner. Then, my disk wouldn't work, but the teacher just let me burn it. So now, I take it home and it won't open. I scanned it in with photoshop and am trying to open it in paint shop pro. I have worked with .psd's before and it even shows me a preview of the image, but then it says "This is not a valid PSD file."

Could anyone let me send them the file and see if you can open it and convert it to a JPEG for me?
