I did this about 2 years ago when I got a lap top. I remember it being very obnoxious, because they don’t make it easy for you to do. There is a way to make your iPod into an external hard drive, and I believe that is how I did it. You could always go to an Apple store and ask for their help though, they would know how to do it.

I did this also a while ago. I used a memory key. I just loaded the key with the tunes from the old computer, and transferred them to the new one that way. It was a bit tedious - and depending on how many tunes you own and the amount of memory in the key it could take some time. But I just did like a couple hundred a day - and it was fine. Who knew I would have collected over four thousand songs on my computer!?
