Help guys.... im not the sharpest pencil in the box when it omes to computers.I just bought a new dell computer and im trying to figure out how to tranfers all my ipod showtunes from my old dell to my new one. thanks for ANYONe who can help cause apple has been less than helpful in the matter
I did this about 2 years ago when I got a lap top. I remember it being very obnoxious, because they don’t make it easy for you to do. There is a way to make your iPod into an external hard drive, and I believe that is how I did it. You could always go to an Apple store and ask for their help though, they would know how to do it.
EDIT: Typo

I did this also a while ago. I used a memory key. I just loaded the key with the tunes from the old computer, and transferred them to the new one that way. It was a bit tedious - and depending on how many tunes you own and the amount of memory in the key it could take some time. But I just did like a couple hundred a day - and it was fine. Who knew I would have collected over four thousand songs on my computer!?
google.
there will be a bunch of freeware programs to do it.
