does anyone here participate in relay for life?
for those who dont know it's a 24 hour event for the american cancer society to raise money for cancer research. the survivors wear purple and the supporters and caregivers wear white. they do a luminaria ceremony where they read the names of people who have died fomr cancer, and then a list of names of people who survived it.
i do it every year with my grandmother who is a 10 year lung cancer survivor.
