this article hits on something i've been wondering about too. bammy's campaign since winning the nomination and being declared - by default - the greatest single human being ever to walk the planet has started looking like the breck girl's did. do they really believe that they can pretty much say and do whatever they want without any consequence or even having anyone point these things out to them?
deeply nuanced or pathologically incapable of telling the truth?

He did what his supporters accused Hillary of. Saying ANYTHING to get elected. John McCain is beginning to look like the liberal candidate to me.

Ouch. I dunno what's up with Obama. Its all pretty mindboggling.

If this campaign implodes, the convention sure will be interesting.

Let's hope he gets it together and picks one hell of a vp.

The current spin in D.C. circles is that he's being "pragmatic" or "flexible". Call it any name you like, the closer we get to the national election all presidental candidates cave and equivicate. Doesn't matter if they're old school or new style. It just looks worse when you've advertised yourself as new style.
