Recalled the recent iPod vs CD thread today while cleaning...a shelf full of cassettes

Have some duplicates on CD, but not all. Haven't listened to any of them in a year, though, so I guess I should just off them, eh?

Have you considered using them for something multimedia? Just a thought.

How much time will pass before we forget all about CDs? I'm figuring that MP3 players are the next big thing.

Yeah...I don't use my CDs unless I am in the car...and i am sure that will end soon when I get my thing installed to make it easier to play my iPod in the car.

When I used my iPod regularly, I used the iTrip. There are two problems: the battery dies very quick and I had to keep my iPod pointed to the attenae (sp?).

Right now, my iPod is sitting on my desk, empty. I'm on a Dell rigth now, and iTunes won't work because it says my Windows Media Player interfers with it. Blah.
