Posted: 7/22/05 at 9:17pmI normally get strawberry and banana. No yogurt, just fruit and ice. But there is one at Planet Smoothie that's called "Captain Kid"...yum. It's a kids drink, but it's really good. It has orange sherbert and strawberries.

Posted: 7/22/05 at 9:34pmEver since I got a smoothie maker (or a blender, depending on how you look at it), I've made my own smoothies. So far, my favorite combination has been orange/pineapple. I haven't tried making anything with peaches or mangos yet, but I've liked them in smoothies in the past, so we'll see what happens...

Jamba Juice is my most favorite place on earth (I even used to work there and I STILL love it) -it's all about the peace pleasure with no bananas sub strawberries...

Of course, nothing improves the taste of a once healthy low-fat refreshing fruit smoothie like a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream and/or a jigger of rum.
Fun Smoothie-related fact: the blender was developed by (and greatly promoted by) big band leader Fred Waring (of "Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians")...hence the "Waring Blender" company.

Are you kidding, MasterLcz? That is neat to know!
I love the new commercial (is it for Chase or Citibank rewards?) where the woman uses her garbage disposal as a blender! The idea is - use our card, develop more points and buy a REAL blender!
