my first thought was david gregory. which made me puke. my second thought was keith, but he's headed to cbs to take over the evening news from katie as soon as they can dot the i's and cross the t's. thankfully as the other end was ready to comment on that possibility.
who out there is even reasonably moderate enough to maintain the high standard to which mtp has generally aspired? or will mtp become just another star in the nbc/msnbc constellation of anti-gop agit-prop?

personally, i'd like to see it go to gwen ifil. she could easily take over as moderator and dc bureau chief.
i do worry for the future of mtp when reading jeff zucker saying that the new person will have to "find the next way to do 'meet the press.'"
