Pimping. Hahaha.

"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

It's pimping.

I wish that this will really force people not to see Brooklyn. As stupid and childish as that sounds. If people see it, they get money, and therefore they believe that those tactics are good and they will be used again.

MGERAH!

No, I think that was real.

Anyway, I see it as a sign of desperation. The only 2 things Brooklyn has going for it is its self-professed "teen appeal" (and since teens are the most capricious market out there, we'll see how long that lasts) and the fact that it's the only new musical opening this fall. Other than that- nothing.

No star, unknown composers, unremarkable concept, and rows and rows of tickets unsold. No wonder the shills are so desperate.
