I watched this for the first time in a couple of years the other day...what an INCREDIBLE movie! Plus, I never realized John Dossett and Brent Barrett were both in it...

Heartbreaking and moving and touching and just wonderful...fabulous cast, too. Campbell Scott is excellent.

One of my favorite all time movies. Campbell Scott and Bruce Davison get me every time!

A great film, but I can't watch it again - too depressing. I've lost WAY too many friends since it came out.

This was such an amazing movie. I was very dissapointed when Bruce Davison lost the Best Supporting Actor Oscar to Joe Pesci, who wasn't even half as good as him. I can't make it through this movie without crying a little.

This shows up on cable every once in a while. It's always one of those movies I'll stop and watch if I see it's on. Top-notch acting by everyone in the cast!

If you've never seen it, it really is a must.

And yes, Bruce Davison was robbed!

terrific and HOT film. The beach scene is such a classic. What a beautiful metaphor.

Without crying a little? It's buckets for me. This is the kind of work that makes Craig Lucas a genius. And a great cast to boot - Mary Louise Parker - gotta love her.

"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
