who else is really excited for wednesday's 2-hour season premiere? at the end of last season, January seemed like so far away! but now it's finally upon us, AND we get a new episode every single week for the rest of the season!

i'm sad about the day change; i liked sundays. but i think running it after "lost" is probably a good move.

i saw a preview on ABC.com that said this season is going to be "more like the first two," implying that last season wasn't as good. i disagree. i've been watching since the series premiere three years ago, and i have loved every episode. true, after SD-6 collapsed it kind of lost focus, and then the whole surreal rimbaldi plot arc was a little...out there. but still.

anyways, let's discuss this very under-appreciated show!

hehe, i posted over there by accident. i didn't actually think it was broadway-related, although victor garber HAS done broadway. at least movie musicals. has he actually done something on broadway?

and yes, you should defintiley try it out. i know lots of guys who watch it just to oogle jennifer garner but it's also a really good mix of action and emotion, with some great performances.

I LOVE THIS SHOW.

I'll spare you the rant, but go get the DVDs and watch season one. I was hooked from the moment I saw that red wig.

Last year, when I began college, I went "Hi, my name is Shira nice to meet you if you even talk to me on Sundays at 9 (the old time slot) we will not get along at all"

A few days after, I bought the first season on DVD, and my roomies and I watched it. Needless to say, we had a sign posted on our door each Sunday which said "ALIAS. Be Quiet!"

So am I excited for Wednesday? God yes! It's J.J. Abrams nights on ABC. There can be no wrong.

Oh, and Jennifer Garner? HOT!

how's this for pathetic:
our rooms at school don't automatically get cable; we have to pay for it. and next semester, because i have another committment most wednesday nights, i'm actually going to pay $20/month for cable JUST so i can tape ALIAS. i mean, i'll watch at other times too, but that's the main reason. gaah, i'm so pathetic!

I think it's a very smart move on ABC's part to move ALIAS to Wednesday nights. ALIAS always won it's timeslot on Sunday nights. With DH on in the original ALIAS timeslot and moving ALIAS to Wednesday nights ABC is going to dominate both Sunday and Wednesday.

Oh and to answer that persons question about Victor Garber: Yes he has been on Broadway. He was Anthony in SWEENEY TODD and he originated the role of Mr. Applegate (The Devil) in the revival of DAMN YANKEES along with several other roles. Updated On: 1/4/05 at 02:14 PM

yay for alias thread! i'm so excited as you can see by my picture. unfortunately, due to excessive amounts of homework on weekdays (and weekends) i'll have to tape alias every week. i'm going to keep watching it on sunday nights. i always watch w/ my dad every sun. i love seeing it on sun b/c i then think about it all day on monday and it's a great, relaxing way to start the week, even though it's full of tension really and i get so excited while watching the show! i just started toward the beg. of last season but over the summer i watched season 1 and half of 2. i havent ahd time to see the second half yet.

you want to hear about obsessed? so i got my friend really into it and there are two others girls in my grade that also watch. last year my grade went to washington dc for a sun. night - a night of a new alias episode. so at 9 the four of us stole my friends room, locked the door and watched. we refused to open it during the show when people knocked, including the people whose room it was. we only let them in during commercials and then yelled at them to shut up when the show started.

so yay, can't wait for tomorrow (but really sunday - damn school!)
