we have north korea taking american journalists hostage and saying no more about it, and instaed launching missiles.

we have unknown hackers in the national power grid dropping easter eggs.

we have the somali pirates for the first time since taking an american-flag vessel with an american crew.

Yes Papa. We know - it's all Obama's fault. Or maybe it's those darn sailors who had no business being where they were. We certainly shouldn't lay blame on the actual perpetrators

defending the pirates? nice. well done, craig. i bet they probably did it on purpose just to screw over obama. you really cannot be serious. honestly? blaming the sailors who were hijacked??? that's like blaiming a rape victim or a murder victim. unreal.

Papa - nice try and trying to turn my words around when I was clearly making that statement about your comments using irony and sarasm. You want to blame the victims and Obama (and his admistration).

Again - I enjoy your political discussions when they are discussions and you have often had keen insights. But lately - you're just poking bears just to poke them.

Are we really in for at least 4 years of you posting every single time something happens in the world you can somehow manage to link to Obama? Really?

phyllis, the statement was that such an argument would not be asccepted here. so unless you have examples of someone making such an argument in which it was not refuted loudly and continuously by the vast majority - including me! - then it merely proves the point.

I've been very distracted by sailorbears for the past half hour, but honestly, I have to say, I don't think the US has ever been popular with pirates or turkish communists (literally, protesting communists) who now carry "Obama Go Home!" posters.

All that time people were worried about what W had done to the country's reputation, I think they were mostly thinking about the hearts and minds of Joe and Jane Schmos of the rest of the world, (Schmo being European for the American "Sixpack"). Pretty much the red flag and jolly roger-waving communities were never going to come around.

God, if ONLY the one true savior John "For God And Country And Drugs For My Wife" McCain had been installed as President!

He'd kick some international ass, and bring in that guy from before who did that thing with the buildings in that city, yeah, and protect us all from that stuff with the Arabs, because it is all so much safer over there especially when you got lots of security guards.

holy schnikeys! start an argument and then delete someone's responses? maybe if you don't want people talking back to you, then you stay the eff out of threads where that might happen. i think the i enjoy being a girl thread is a place of inifinite love and peace where no one ever says a bad word. just a suggestion.

you did blame the actual victims and you did state clearly that the "real" victim is obama. not me, you. your words. they're up there. you can read them.
