this year, as thanksgiving draws near, something i am thankful for is that my name is not part of the far too long list of names of transgender people who's lives were taken from them.

The world is a scary effing place, and transgender people are among the bravest I know.
Ditto Phyllis!
i just got home from a wonderful mass and candle light vigil at the MCC church in hartford. very moving. i met some wonderful people there too, who want me to join their church... it's a non-denominational church who's congregation is made up 90% of GLBTQ people.
i made an entry on my video blog about today... and yes, i am crying a bit at the end. i tried not to but couldn't stop myself.

I cried a bit at the end, too, just watching it. I thought it was very eloquent and perfectly stated.
Thank you for making that vid!
