that's not curious, phyllis, it's smart. she's trying to set the agenda on which she will run and it's limited to those issues she lists. espcially since she's running as a republican, but in such a wildly liberal district.

at least she's not, like, promising to end dadt or close gitmo or not assassinate american citizens or something. y'know, things that most people would see now as outright lies.

While she confirmed to me that she is in favor of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act ("of course"), it turns out she is opposed to marriage equality, giving the religious line on marriage being between "a man and a woman." On the issue of adoption Milo also believes that, though kids should go to gay and lesbian parents if it means they'll be in an institution, "traditional families" should have priority over gays.
