Add me to the list of Bridge to Terabithia, all Nicolas Sparks books (especially A Walk To Remember), My Sister's Keeper, Beaches, Tuesdays with Morrie.
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant, The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, definitely The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein (good call, gogannon), and Her Name, Titanic by Charles Pellegrino.
Justagirl, I remember that - Kirsten's best friend Marta dies and they carry her off the boat in a coffin. God, how depressing. I much preferred Molly's trip to camp where she plays Capture the Flag.
Reading this list I realize what a crybaby I am when it comes to books. There are some picture books from when I was little that even today still make me cry.
Haha, Where The Red Fern Grows automatically popped into my head too. I read it in fifth grade and it was the first book I ever cried reading. I don't cry very frequently at books, though.

I don't really cry when I read really sad books. If I'm going to cry, then it will be during a really sad movie.
I don't understand why, but I got a bit teary at the end of Spirit and at the end of the movie Where the Red Fern Grows.
Also, A Child Called it
it is sooo sad!!!
