Sad that Iceland is currently bankrupt as a consequence of its deregulation tactics that the nation can't sustain because of its size--both area and population.
If only people in other nations knew about the other presidential candidates we have...
well that's.......inconsequential.
I hear that in Venezuela Chavez is ahead of Obama and McCain by 60 points.
I wouldn't say it's inconsequential. The world is watching this election, and we as Americans have the chance to possibly fix our shattered image, or continue the pitiful view the world has had of us the last eight years.
Well I hope Obama makes sure to send a fruit basket to all the nice people in Iceland whose support may decide the outcome of our election.
Um it isn't just Iceland, the site is just sponsored in Iceland. If you actually look at the link, it has every country listed...
That doesn't make it any more relevant. It's cool that one random guy in Djibouti likes Obama, but opinion of a few thousand internet users from around the world doesn't matter November 4th when once again, Ohio is 90% in and too close to call. And sadly, some people voting for McCain take pride in the fact that these Marxist-Commie-terrorist countries disagree with them.
Wow, missing the point much here? OBVIOUSLY the poll means nothing really - it's an indication of where people stand that means no more or less than any of the HUNDREDS of polls that are taken on this election. This one is just interesting because it gives more of a global picture.
....this just in:
Obama leads McCain by a slim margin in the country of Nauru!
Isn't that a swing country?
This is really gonna be a nail biter.
Tazber, you just made me spit out my seltzer water all over the keyboard. That was really funny. "A swing country."
Quite frankly, I couldn't care less who the rest of the world "endorses" for President.
