John "Never Met a Pork Barrel I Didn't Want to Bring Home" Murtha was re-elected four months ago. He barely eked a victory over an unknown carpetbagger.

I don't think he understands shame. Denouncing innocent Marines as murderers didn't shame him from running for re-election. Calling his constituents racist didn't shame him from running.

But perhaps this will crush his hopes for the "residents" of Gitmo to be relocated to Johnstown.

Etoile, if Murtha's 58% to Russel's 42% is a "barely eked" victory, what on earth do you call Obama's 53% to McCain's 46%?

Unless a criminal allegation sticks (and I'd be shocked if one does), Murtha's in for the very long haul.
